The True Leaf Tea company is based in Houston, Texas and was founded on three principles.

• Teas must be grown organically without the use of pesticides and chemicals.
• Teas will be procured from estates that meet International Fair Trade and Biodynamic standards whenever possible.
• Consistently provide personalized service to fit the needs of our individual customers. We reach beyond the excellence of our online tea store to include services such as local tea tasting events and interactive speaking engagements that are exciting and educational in a variety of venues. The founding owner Kim McHugh, a certified "Level II - Tea Specialist" prides herself on finding the most unique, quality teas which also promote healthy living.

Growing up in Texas, tea options were very limited and the tea bags offered were usually of poor quality. We didn't know any better back then so it was adequate for a non discerning palate but today, our options are endless! Such delicious and exotic flavors as White Mango Pear, Blueberry Muffin, Moroccan Mint and Coco Crave are just a few new, healthy organic teas that are gaining popularity around the world. Some people love to try new and unusual flavors but we understand many people are deeply in love with traditional tea so we found the best! Traditional favorites such as Earl Gray, English Breakfast and Irish Breakfast will always be on our tea menu from the best estates in the world.
